Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Train employees on safety procedures and protocols to promote a culture of safety.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to develop and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on HSE issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety and environmental programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HSE.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSE activities.
  • Communicate and report on HSE performance to senior management and regulatory bodies.


 

Desired Candidate Profile

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as occupational health and safety or environmental science.
  • Professional certification in HSE, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST). or NEBOSH / IOSH
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety protocols.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform site inspections and audits.
